Does anyone have anymore info on the payouts for the DQ University tournament? All the NV folks have been talkin about this tourney and I would like to attend to check out the action. Does anyone know what town the tourney is in so I can reserve a room? I would appreciate any info so I can let my ball and chain know ahead of time about what is going on. Peace.

Here is some information I received from one of the organizers of the tourney. I thought I would post for others who dont know anything about this tourney like myself. Whose all going? Take it easy and maybe I'll see you in Cali.
The money breakdown goes like this. 1. $6000 & Championship Jackets 2. $4000 & 2nd place Windbreakers 3. $2000 & Third place Sweaters. 4. $1600 5. $1400 6. $1200 7. $1100 8. $1000 9. $900 10. $800
The organizers opted to pay more people so more have a chance. DQU is 7 miles east of Davis CA and about 20 east of Sacramento CA. You can also look a small towns like Winters or Dixon for motels. $125 buy in. Thses are the basic rules. Teams are 3-5 person teams. no adding after first game. Guess the marked bone here, not the slick. 10 stick games, no kick. Guess with a stick unless otherwise decided by teams at game time. Double elimination. One hand must be visible when hider is ready. No false guesses 2 min time limit for hideing and guessing. All games begin with coin toss by referee.

Their was some things that occured that my team was not used to but we know what expect next time. After it was all over my family had a good ole time.
The open games kicked ass on Saturday and was the highlight for me. Hope to see all the crews in Ely. Peace.
How did things go in Fallon?
