The United Auburn Maidu people will be hosting their 2nd annual handgame (stickgame) tournament at the Thunder Valley Casino near Roseville, California (~20 miles NE of Sacramento) on July 22, 2006.
Registration at noon,
$125 entry,
$7000 guaranteed first place
Double elimination
Pays to 6th place
Registration at noon, goodies bag for all registered players.
Play should begin by 2:30 or 3:00, Indian Standard Time
This is in northern California, so we'll all be guessing for the black (striped) bone. (variety is good for you)
Play will be under tents in the parking lot. The weather will be HOT and the games cookin'. It'd be great to meet some of you folks from the great northwest.
