The 29th annual pow-wow will be July 13-17, 2006. This week-end. The stickgame tourney regisration closes Saturday @3p.m. There is a $150.00 entry fee (3-5 players) Payouts ar 40 %, 30%, 20% and 10%. Pointer is responsible for team following all rules. Remember to bring your chairs. Open games Thursday-Sunday. Vernon is head of tourney. His phone number is (406)471-4384

There is also a drum contest with total payouts @ $21,000. 1st place $10, 000 2nd $5,000 3rd $3,000 4th $2,000 5th $1,000 The first ten registered drum each day will be paid. The dancing prize money totals 30,000. The age groups are golden age 60 yrs & up Sr adults 45-59 Adults 18-44 12-17 7-11 tiny tots All categories are separate (jingle, fancy & tradish for women & tradish, grass, fancy and this year Prairie chicken has been added. Each category will pay three places. Registration for dances, and stickgame will be 3pm Saturday.

Competitions last throughout the weekend with all ages participating. Exciting, excellent cultural demonstrations as well as ethnic and traditional food offered daily. Come on out to Rocky Boy for a true Native American tradition.

There will be a stickgame tournament in Muckleshoot at the sla-hal shed on August 24th-26th 2007. Contact me at the muckleshoot casino 253-804-4444. There's also gonna be mass fine guys and a pow wow lol A dance for teenagers also. Auburn Washington
